Electromechanical Engineering

The Electromechanical Engineering is responsible for conducting the analysis, design, development, manufacture and maintenance of electromechanical systems and devices, which combine different electrical and mechanical parts to form mechanical devices. Examples of these devices are the electric motors used in household appliances such as fans, refrigerators, washing machines, hair dryers, power transmission mechanisms and others that convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. Phones transmit information from one place to another, converting the mechanical energy caused by sound waves into electrical signals and converting these electrical signals into sound waves for reception. The list is endless as there are many such electromechanical devices. It is physically impossible to group them all and discuss them individually.

The main function of an engineer

The main function of an engineer is to process design solutions or develop technology to social needs, industrial or economic. For this, the engineer must identify and understand the major obstacles for making a good design. Some of the obstacles are the resources available, physical or/and technical limitations, the flexibility for any future additions and modifications and some other factors such as cost, the possibility of carrying out, performance and aesthetic and commercial considerations. By understanding these constraints, the engineers infer the best solutions to address the limitations encountered when you have to produce and use an object or a system.

The nuclear engineering is the practical application of atomic nuclei treated by the principles of chemistry and nuclear physics and the interaction between radiation and matter.
